GROUND ZERO...30 DAYS ON
The still smoldering ruins of the Twin Towers are a
consistent reminder of the terrorist threat we must
now face on a daily basis. In Washington DC and the
woodlands of Pennsylvania the devastation is too real
to comprehend. What has followed is a war on two fronts,
in the far off lands of Afghanistan and on the homeland
of America for the first time in its history.
Ordinary folks across America are numbed and bewildered.
Now it is time to find the answer within ourselves, and
to look to our leaders for direction to ignite the
indomitable spirit of the American way. And now we must
salute the American Armed Forces and their allies in the
war against terroristm worldwide.

The Hudson and Potomac are the answer
Great rivers for all Seasons of the year
Eternal as the Spirit of America
Will see our torn twin cities shed their fear
Rising from the ashes crying Freedom
Once again the call to arms begins
America the brave will plan its answer
So standing tall together, Victory wins.

GROUND ZERO ...60 DAYS ON
More bodies or our fallen heroes are found in
the smoldering ruins that once was the World Trade
Center buildings. Now a new element has emerged in
the war against terroristm...Anthrax, the insidious
and silent killer, has been loosed on the American
homeland by a faceless enemy. A number of innocent
people including postal workers have inhaled the killer
spores and are murdered victims of this hideous
bio-chemical form of warfare. A total nationwide alert
has been called for as Americans close ranks and
courageously go about their daily lifestyles while
fully aware of imminent undetermined terrorist attack.
This is the spirit of America in action and the anzwer
to our enemies who dare to disrupt a nation in pursuit
of Peace and Liberty for all.

THE WAR
The first winds of the winter in Manhattan
The twin towers smoldering ruins still makes us fear
So many secrets hidden by the rubble
Where we stop to shed a prayerful tear
As we open up our hearts to fallen heros
Reality has long since made us face
The fact that life goes on in spite of terror
While our loved ones lie in state of grace.

America! America! Do not falter
You must by example lead the way
However long it takes, the world must follow
The terrorists must never win the day.

This is no holy war as some are saying
The terrorists defile both God and man
They can't cloak their deeds with
phoney scripture
They've sinned against the teaching of Islam
They are outcasts, criminals and killers
They hide behind the innocents who live
In poverty controlled by propaganda
That paints the west in terms
they can't forgive.

We are not the anti- Christ or enemy

You should fear the terrorists that use you
And loose the dogs of war upon your head
But know we will redress the scales of justice
