This is a brief historical trilogy telling the tragic story of events that happened in New York City, Washington DC and the wooded hills of Pennsylvania on September 11th 2001. Terrorist attacks that will never be forgotten.

Thousand of innocent and unsuspecting Americans were murdered and the world,as we knew it,was chanaged forever. War was declared. 9/11/2001 in the USA was a day of infamy. This work is written in memory of and respect for all the ordinary citizens,airline passengers,firemen,policemen,emergency workers and medical teams who died on that terrible day. God Bless America.

A lovely Autumn morning in Manhattan
September the 11th USA
America about its daily lifestyle
As New York began to face the day.
Then without a warning came the horror
Hijacked planes like demons straight from hell
Hit the citys twin towers in explosion
Humanity with each great building fell.

America we bleed with you in spirit
An act of war was your sad fate to-day

The terrorists had violated life
The souls aboard the hijacked planes are martyrs
Like all the victims of this day of strife
Then Americas capital was the target
its Pentagon impregnable no more
Another hijacked plane crashed its defences
And Washington was shaken to the core

With every means at hand to face this foe
And hunt this craven cult through every moment
And leave no place on earth where they can go.
America, we Irish want to tell you
You are not alone, we share your pain
We pray, the price you've paid for Global Freedom
Will not prove, once more, to be in vain.
